PS2 set for a larger hard drive.

In the next month, Japan is expected to receive Sonyís new 40 gigabyte hard disk which will be a big step in what Sony believes to be an ongoing trend. Apparently, Sony hopes to release an updated and more powerful hard disk each year, while keeping the price the same in accordance. With the accompaniment of the PS2ís broadband adapter, Sony fans are in for a treat like no other.

It is Japanís Mainichi Shimbun reporting this story, however, it is still unknown the exact increase that the PS2 will face each year. Sony has also been hesitant in reporting exact details, although they are excited about what the future will hold for the PS2. What we as gamers can expect, though, is improvement in gaming quality every year with technological updates that only Sony can offer.
