Sony prepares to publish Sega games in Europe.

As Sega continues to be shown numerous plans made by Sony, they have now allowed Sony to publish seven upcoming Sega games for the PS2 in the European market. Sega has also given Sony all publishing responsibilities for this event. Although the Sega Dreamcast may not be the prevalent system it once was, Sega is still very involved in the gaming community. The games included in the publishing agreement are Virtua Fighter 4, Ecco the Dolphin, two Space Channel 5 games, Head Hunter, Ferrari F355, and K-Project. Sega has not announced any plans to discontinue operations in the European market and are still proceeding to be a presence in Europe. However, ongoing communication with Sony has led to rumors, that are yet to be confirmed, of Sega possibly negotiating deals with Microsoft and Nintendo and discontinuing its publishing operations in Europe. All of this is still very uncertain, though, and the only definite news is that between Sony and Sega.
