UEP Systems declares bankruptcy.

It has been reported that Japanese developer UEP Systems has announced bankruptcy on an earlier post located on its website. The company is best known for its work on the Cool Boarders series, while it has made other contributions with console games. The announcement was prompted by a decision from the Tokyo District Court, which rejected an earlier claim made by the company. However, after further collaboration the announcement has been made, and puts question on UEP’s recent project.

UEP Systems’ current project is Shaun Palmer’s Pro Snowboarder, which has been announced to be published by Activision. A press tour to show the game is scheduled for next week, and apparently the game is proceeding without stoppage. Activision had no comment on any possible financial issues that UEP may be experiencing, or any further word on the status of their current title.
