Run Like Hell changes to action
It has been announced today by Interplay that one of their most recent projects, Run Like Hell, has transformed from its original horror genre to a more action-based title. Although an odd turn of events, Producer Travis L. Williams gives an explanation for the event.
"Since E3, Run Like Hell has taken a more action-oriented path. We are focusing on making the action element of Run Like Hell more immersive & enjoyable than it was before. Run Like Hell started as a survival horror game. However, everyone found the pacing of a Survival Horror game to be too slow. The creatures that you have to face in Run Like Hell move a little too fast for you to have the typical Survival Horror control scheme. These changes are pretty fundamental to the way Run Like Hell works and it will no doubt take us to the end of the year to accomplish. Don't worry though. I am sure everyone wants a good game, and not just a finished one."
Due to the change in structure, Run Like Hell is expected to be released 2002 of Q1 or Q2.
