Bass Strike released for the PS2
THQ announced today the release of Bass Strike for the Playstation 2. With eight rounds of tournament gameplay and the ability to choose from six anglers with individual fishing techniques, style, and tackle boxes, the game is proving to be a treat to those looking for a great fishing title. Another fine addition to Bass Strike are the detailed weather conditions and scenarios with over 35 lures to choose from, as you roam these vast areas. The game allows players to qualify as one of the top 50 anglers to progress on to the B.A.S.S. Masters Classic. It would appear that THQ has packed a great deal of gameplay into this title for fishing fans alike.
"More than 60 million people take to the water and bass fish every year," explained Michael Rubinelli, vice president, product development, THQ, as he baited a line. "Bass Strike combines both arcade action and realistic fishing technologies in the first ever fishing game for the PlayStation 2. Virtual anglers everywhere can now experience the thrill and excitement of bass fishing as they kick back and bass in their own living rooms."
