MX Rider prepares for shipment

Infogrames and Paradigm Entertainment have announced that they will be shipping MXrider October 30, 2001, their motocross title that claims to be the most complete experience out in the genre. This will be the first game to be introduced under the reinstated Atari brand, and will have features that include:

  • Signature motocross and supercross speed and action

  • Six gameplay modes: Single Race, Freestyle, Challenge, Multiplayer (2player), Training and Championship

  • 60 riders in all three classes (125, 250 and 500cc)

  • Nine official teams from the Motocross World Championship 2000 season, officially licensed by the Federation Internationale Motocycliste (FIM)

  • 17 Motocross and six Supercross events plus six fantasy arenas exclusively designed for Freestyle sessions

  • Intense competition a pack of up to 12 pro riders on each track

  • Heightened realism that promises to blow you away, including authentic engine sounds, mud projections and photo realistic track textures

  • Madly insane tricks and a ton of hidden surprises
