Sega details online network service

It was announced today that Sega will be implementing a flat rate for their SegaNet online service. Starting November 1, the company will charge 9.95 a month for unlimited online play, except Phantasy Star Online, which will still be available for free since it runs on its own servers. Along with this service, Sega will also offer special features such as instant messaging, profile pages, and organized online tournaments. The service will be available for all three next-generation consoles, and will also still be accessible to the Dreamcast.
