MGS2 receives high expectations
Konami has announced their expectations for Metal Gear Solid: Sons of Liberty on the PS2. The company believes the game will sell over 2 million copies in America this fiscal year. The game has already received 1.8 million preorders and will continue to ship units as sales stay heavy. Even with the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, the game has maintained high expectation levels and continues to grow with the release scheduled for tomorrow in North America. Also, the Japanese market predicts over 1 million sales of MGS2, as it will be released November 29. Expect heavy coverage of this tactical game in the weeks to come.
