MGS2 in danger of counterfeit

Konami has officially issued a warning in Asia against purchasing pirated copies of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. The game has been highly counterfeited and these copies can only be played on the PS2 with a modchip. Konami is pursuing this legal action against those who are distributing and purchasing such pirated material. MGS2 is scheduled for release in Japan tomorrow and will continue their efforts in this process. With the PS2 scheduled for release in Hong Kong and Taiwan in the next month, Konami wants to put an end to any type of fraudulent activity.
