Sega begins taking pre-orders for VF4

Sega has announced today that it will be taking pre-orders for Virtua Fighter 4 in Japan by way of its Dreamcast Direct web store. Also, as an extra bonus, those who pre-order will receive a discounted price of about 6,800 yen off the retail price and will get a special VF4 character card.

Sega will also ship their special Playstation 2 VF4 arcade stick. The controller will feature the three-button scheme known to arcade platforms, and will place the remaining buttons on the top row of the controller. Both the game and arcade stick will be shipped January 31 and are expected to sell well in Japan.
