Samurai Jack hits the videogame world
Bam Entertainment announced today that it has reached an agreement with The Cartoon Network to release games based on the animated series, Samurai Jack. The first game using the license will be released sometime this year, however, no specific platform has been given for the game.
"This agreement is another exciting step in what has been a successful relationship between Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Bam Entertainment,'' said Philippe Erwin, vice president of Interactive Entertainment for Warner Bros. Consumer Products. "Beginning with the success of games based on The Powerpuff Girls and Dexter's Laboratory, our partnership with Bam continues to grow and we look forward to working with them on making Samurai Jack a huge hit in the world of interactive entertainment.''
"We are thrilled to expand our relationship with The Cartoon Network and to bring another of its premiere television shows to the gaming industry,'' said Ray Musci, CEO of Bam Entertainment. "Samurai Jack offers deeply rich content and will be a great source of quality-driven games for our expanding lineup."
