Summer 2002

It's not question about that that virtually every successful Disney title has or will be seeing a videogame counterpart. Lately, though, Disney characters have become even more broad, such as Square and Disney's upcoming Kingdom Hearts. Yet another title to venture away from the cliché movie adaptation is Disney Golf, which immerses gamers in the game of golf, much like Mario and Hot Shots does; with pure, solid fun.

Disney's most famed characters will unite for a good game of golf. Among those characters are Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy. Players can golf it out in six different course, each one with its own unique twist and aura.

There are a total of 6 play modes in all, hinting that Disney Golf may be edged more towards a multiplayer-type game. Best-Ball, Match, Skins, and Stroke are the four initial modes, and as a certain progression is reached, the two bonus modes will also be unlocked: Long-Drive and Near-Pin.

Helping to better define the outlandish and comical play is the incorporation of over 60 different upgrades. Each one will give your player, or the game you're playing in, a unique twist. One upgrade can even give your player enough touch to hit a hole-in-one.

Disney Golf is expected to release this summer, and while the game is coming about rather quietly, its premise is looking quite promising. Look out for more as it's available.
