SSX Hits The Slopes On February 14

Damnit, stop loading up the first quarter again!

Yet another high-profile title has landed a February release date; it's EA's reboot of SSX, which is destined to cater to all you high-flying snowboarding fans. You don't have many options, though, do you?

The promising title settles in alongside other February games like Twisted Metal and Binary Domain, and don't forget about Final Fantasy XIII-2 on January 31. Featuring a few returning characters and a fresh focus on freedom (boarders can choose multiple paths down the mountain), SSX should be quite the thrill ride. Even if you aren't a snowboarding follower, you might have to try this one. The series has quite the storied history; the original was arguably the best PS2 launch title as it snagged several perfect scores. Remember the PS2 release day? October 26, 2000. Ah, I remember it well.
