Resident Evil HD Selection Confirmed

Maybe a few other Wii titles will turn out well on the PlayStation 3, given the new high-definition overhaul and PlayStation Move compatibility.
During a Resident Evil 15th anniversary (damn, 15 years!) event, Famitsu.com snapped an interesting picture, as cited by Andriasang. Capcom will bring both Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles and Darkside Chronicles to the PS3 as one title- Resident Evil Chronicles HD Selection. Now, it may get a different name for North America and Europe; we're not sure. But we do know it'll have spiffy new HD and Move support, which should be great for Sharpshooter owners.
While everyone waits Resident Evil 6 with bated breath - will the tank controls return? - this announcement comes as good news. We just need a Western release date now.

yeah, like some of my psxe comrades have aleady said. bring the gamecube re1 and re 0 games over to the ps3.
speaking of the re hd games. i don't think the re4 hd and code veronica games are that good of hd conversions. i can barely tell a difference between these hd games and the ps2 versions. if they ever do port over the gc re games such as re1 and zero i hope capcom at least puts some effort into it. whoever did the HD conversions for re 4 and code veronica did a poor job.

sure there ps1 games but who said you cant do HD remakes of ps1 games?
oh what i would do to be able to play pandemonium, oddworld, the crash and spyro series in HD.
in fact i dont think id buy a new game for the rest of my life if i had those!
