DMC Concept Art: Maximum Creepiness
All video games require artists. Some require artists with a distinctly twisted flair.
For example, take DMC, the Devil May Cry reboot currently in development at Ninja Theory. This is one franchise that has thrived on beautiful, highly imaginative art design and concepts, and as you can see at the Capcom-Unity Blog, Dante's new adventure will boast freaky awesomeness.
Some have said the in-game graphics have "an oil painting-like quality with its vibrant, constrastive color scheme, extremely high level of detail, and wispy cloth textures." Therefore, Capcom wanted to give you another look at the the game's concept art; they have "more creepiness" and "a little less fantasy." We shouldn't underestimate the need for fantastically talented artists for games like DMC; if we're not intimidated by our foes, what do we care?
Personally, I love being freaked out by nightmarish enemies and bosses. It only gives you that much more incentive to conquer...

now its just the combat im worried about.
NT are not exactly known for in depth complex combat systems, and, well DMC is just about the most in depth complex combat system out there!
i just hope they have not bitten off more then they can chew.......

I don't know how true this article is but if it is true then they've got plenty of time to get it right with no excuses.

I also see ppl getting bent out of shape because of it. There were others reasons that made DMC2 the black sheep of the franchise and the concept art or the art style of that game isn't/wasn't really one of those reasons.
Also I've been doing some thinking and I just think that if Capcom was gonna reboot one of they're franchises with NT then why not Onimusha instead. I mean it makes more sense the more I think about it. Unlike the DMC franchise were the games were more combat driven Onimusha was the polar opposite they more story driven the combat driven like DMC to me Onimusha is more up NT ally but maybe that's just me. I'm still looking forward to the new DmC tho.
