"Special Move Peripheral" Coming For Bioshock Infinite
When Bioshock Infinite was announced, the developers said the game might support PlayStation Move, but nothing was confirmed.
Well, it might actually support Sony's motion control in a whole new way: according to a new Move article found at PlayStation.com (as cited by VideoGamer), Sony is developing a "special peripheral" for Irrational's promising new project. As the article stated:
"A special PS Move peripheral is being produced that will draw you even deeper into this stunning vision of a parallel future."
We don't have any further information at this time, but we know Bioshock creator Ken Levine said Move would always be an option, never a requirement. As he said-
"Any experience that sits in the realm of motion play needs to be kept separate from the main experience. It needs to be firewalled off so that if this experiment isn't for you, or doesn't turn out to be all that great, you just ignore it."
What kind of "special Move peripheral" could we be looking at? Bioshock operates from the first-person view although it isn't really a first-person shooter. It's more like a first-person action/RPG...so it's tough to conceive of the peripheral's design.
