Harry Potter Fans: Revel In The 3D Experience Movie Pack
Harry Potter isn't done yet.
Sony has announced a new PlayStation 3 bundle to celebrate the recent release of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2" on Blu-Ray.
It's called the Harry Potter 3D Experience Movie Pack PS3 bundle, and it'll be available starting this week for the low price of $249.99. The package includes a 160GB PlayStation 3, a copy of the aforementioned movie on Blu-Ray disc (both 3D and standard versions), and a voucher to download "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" and "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets." Last but not least is a 30-day free trial for PlayStation Plus.
I haven't really gotten into the whole 3D thing, but there are many people who love it. I think it depends on the movie and game in question; if it's something like "Avatar," I can understand the attraction...to some extent. As for games, I don't really need it, although it has proven to be pretty cool in the past.

Though, feedback on the Sony's PS3/PC 3DTV seems to be really positive, with the new SimulView tech being a real hit, described often as "magical".
