Ni No Kuni Trailer: A Wide, Attractive World To Explore
Role-playing fans have been waiting on this one for a looong time. Or maybe it just seems like a "looong time."
Colorful, engaging and above all else, traditional, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch will finally descend upon North American shores early next year. And for those of you who haven't been following along, this new trailer shows off exactly what you desire: gameplay, the vast, attractive world, and that unbelievable art style that so many have already enjoyed in Japan.
This is one of the most promising RPGs out there, in our opinion. While many may be skeptical due to its cartoony, even kiddie presentation, we have nothing but high expectations. All we're hoping for is a well-paced old-school RPG with plenty of great exploration and combat, and an interesting storyline. Is that really too much to ask for these days?

Just looking at the exploration gameplay...it's going to be a gem. And a gem with without a risk of terrible voice acting! This'll be a trip where you'll want to purchase a pair of quality nostalgia classes as opposed to 3D ones =P.
If you make another 'Top 5 Exclusive' editorial this time next year, I hope this shoots up there. Hell, buy a Wii and Last Story next year and that alone will be a good year for J-RPGs in the western hemisphere.

I cross my fingers and toes that this will be the jrpg you all have been waiting for. You deserve it!
And if it appeals also to a jrpg n00b I'll join in. ;)

Also, Sorcery should be coming by the end of the year, so if you want a reason to buy Move, it's coming.

So glad it's being recognised here after we all yearned for one....i can stop worrying now.
As for the game, as i've said before, it's the strongest competitor i have seen to FFVll i have seen in all it's 14 years available.

It has a world map that you can walk on (and I hope it involves fighting... haven't read much of the game) and get to your destination.
It has a ship you can sail on... remember those from a looooong time ago. And for God's sake, it has a FREAKING DRAGON you can fly on!
And I think I saw a big ass town with many NPC's in one of the trailers...
Please, stop saying it's impossible (or time consuming) to do something like this? You have the experience and the resources to do this 10x better, yet you are content on making mediocre... well, not mediocre, more like taking the easiest way to make fast money...
Shame on you, Square Enix, Shame on YOU.
