Mass Effect 3 N7 Collector's Edition Jammed With Extras
What you're looking at here is one of the coolest collector's editions of the generation. It even comes with a virtual pet for Commander Shepard.
BioWare has lifted the lid on the awesome N7 Collector's Edition for Mass Effect 3, which is slated to arrive on March 6. It includes all sorts of fun stuff, from the now-standard steelbook casing to a full collection of in-game content. Check out the unveiling video:
For only $80, you can net all sorts of goodies, and that includes an art book, a Limited Edition Mass Effect comic by Dark Horse, and even a robotic dog to "keep you company on board the Normandy." Heck, I'm not even a fan of the series and I want this.

Since I own both versions, I know for a fact that the 360 version has a REAL manual that's 30 pages long.
So this game won't be bought by me until there's a HUMONGOUSLY HUGE price drop.
I do sooooo want that RoboDog though.

Nope, no manual in the case at all.
There's a trifolded paper inside the case that gives you a link to get the online manual.
BTW, Battlefield:Bad Company 2 also did the same thing too.
And as I started playing it the day before yesterday for the first time, I wasn't sure where the crouch function was, so I went to the link provided in BF2's tri-folded paper, and once in it took me over an hour to even find the manual because all of the page's other BS mixed in there too.
And after all that, I downloaded it, then went to check it & I found out it was for the PC, where they use letter designations instead.
So I just said eff it & I wound up finding the "crouch" on my own(press down on L3 stick)
This on-line manual crap is just way too much "jumping through the developer's hoops" bullsh*t to frigging deal with.

Too bad most of you missed out on the first one. Seriously, if the series was exclusive to the PS3 there's no doubt in my mind alot you would call this the greatest set of games this generation. The story alone is on grand scale, the music hits it's home and as shown in Mass Effect 2 - character depth is quite in-depth. Theme is...well based on personal taste, but even I was veered away by the ME1 setting at first and boy, what a mistake that was.

But I also loved the dog in Fallout 3. We had some great travels, the two of us.
It's something special about having such companions. I could do *anything* to keep him alive. With the other companions I just reloaded a savegame if I screw up, but not so with the dog. I had him sit and wait while I cleared the path ahead.
