Battlefield 3 Patch Hits Consoles "Shortly After PC"
All games can use a little improvement, and good developers always want to make their products better, even after those products are out the door.
According to the Battlefield blog, DICE is currently preparing a patch for Battlefield 3 that will improve "polish, stability, weapons balancing, squad control functionality, user interface enhancements, and several feature enhancements that address feedback the community has provided to date."
They say the patch will arrive for the PC version next week, but PS3 and Xbox 360 players will have to wait a little longer. The patch has to pass through certification before it becomes available on consoles but thankfully, DICE says this will happen "shortly after the PC update." So what are you hoping gets fixed? Those who enjoy the multiplayer probably have a laundry list of issues they'd like to see disappear, which isn't surprising. No offense to DICE or BF3, of course.
But when it comes to online multiplayer, there will always be problems. It's just a matter of whittling those problems down to a minimal number.
