Kevin Butler Honors The Die-Hard PlayStation Fans

PlayStation is looking to honor its fans, and Kevin Butler is on hand to single out a few of the most impressive die-hards.

A slew of new ads featuring Kevin Butler honoring the most ardent PlayStation fans has surfaced; check 'em out over at AListDaily. KB talks about various feats in gaming and pays homage; it's freakin' cool.

If you don't feel like clicking through the link, here are two of the videos. The first is a nod to a gamer who managed to get all 400 Riddler trophies in Batman: Arkham City in only three days. Yeah, it doesn't sound possible to us, either.

The second is in honor of a couple college gamers who wanted to meet girls, so they decided to pick up Everybody Dance and throw a nine-hour dance party. ...yeah, that sounds a little excessive to us, too, but apparently, it worked. Got the hookup.

You gotta see all the vids, though. They're all just fantastic; we all love KB. Now, what do you think Mr. Butler will do when Sony announces the PlayStation 4? They're going to retain him as their spokesperson for the next generation, right? I mean, wouldn't they have to?

I'd hold that dance party as long as I didn't have to dance. I'd just watch the jiggle physics.

as long as you live in the states of course!
sigh, typical $ony!
no wonder there in last place!
oh how i wish father ken was still with thee!
and get that pompous stuck up prick stringer out of there quickity split!
if $ony is going to have any hope of competing next gen, they need to get rid of stringer, and stop with this regional exclusive bull sh*t!

Australia getting screwed. It ain't so bad... there's just bugger all advertising here. Well, Austar has PS3 ads all the frickin' time. I had access for two days and saw the Uncharted 3 ad at least a dozen times, the R&C one about 4 and then a few others about the Move... I was shocked. And then I saw Jessica Mauboy promoting Nintendogs + Cats. *shakes head* Also, why was there no PS3 logo during the Skyrim ads?

Speaking of, Vodafone is the standard provider for Vita. Apparently they're unlocked though. I did suggest it... But hey, the Vodafone network has already been upgraded, but apparently they're still doing the rollouts, so it'll get better yet. *YAY*

how is it not that bad?
having to sit here watching our US counterparts getting to partake in competitions like this.
sitting at home dreaming like what starhawk will be like, when there playing the beta they got from uncharted 3.
missing out on all the sales, the US PSN is having a massive sale now, wheres ours?
$ony have had 3 preview events for the vita so far, and every single one of them has included almost every country, and each time AU have been one of the very few to get left out.
we want to get a chance to try it out too!

as for vodafone, well, you could not pay me 100 trillion dollars to go on that network ever again!
first problem i had with them was i had a new contract with them, a month after i started first bill i was suppose to get did not arrive.
i rang up and asked hey, wheres my bill?
was told its coming, just wait for it.
2 weeks later, i start my new job in the city, NEVER been there before in my entire life, was so lost i could not find anything.
was suppose to ring a friend to come pick me up, but for some stupid reason i could not get a dial tone.
so i wondered around the city for 2 hours looking for the station, finally found it caught 2 trains home and 2 buses.
took me 6 hours to get home!
next day i ring vodafone to ask what the hell was going on with my phone, and they say oh we cut your service off because you did not pay your bill.
WTF!?
i just rang them up 2 weeks ago, they said wait its coming.
no emails asking for payment, no phone calls, no text messages, no warnings they just cut it off!
i was so pissed started swearing at them and swore to never go back to them.
then i was visiting my parents told my father what happened and he was so pissed off he rang them and went off at them again.
i could hear him swearing at them through the garage!

then stupid me did not learn my lesson, got a 3G modem with them a few years later.
they promised me i would get 8GBs per month, and when i reach my limit it will cut off and i wont be charged anything.
i was also promised i would be getting minimum 1MBPs.
i get the device, and i can never connect.
constantly dropping out.
whenever i can connect its so slow, it takes 5 minutes to load google!
i ring them up, they troubleshoot and it seems ok.
a week later i get a email saying i have gone over, i open up my account and it says i have used the 4GBs i was given.
wait, did i not just say they promised to give me 8GBs?
yes, i did!
so im not getting the speed they promised, im not getting the reliability its constantly dropping out, im not even getting the usage i was promised!
rang them up, spent 2 hours on the phone arguing and there saying oh no whatever you were told is wrong you only get 4GBs not 8.
i said i dont give a flying f*ck if what i was told was wrong, you cant say to someone these are the terms of the contract then change it once its signed.
they were trying to get me to pay for another 1GB so they could access my account and trobleshoot it.
f*ck that, its there f*ck up why the hell should i pay a dime?
finally got through to there thick heads, and they used a company code to troubleshoot my account.

after all that they said we think your USB drive is faulty, which is causing the low speeds and drop outs.
take it back to a store and they will replace it.
ok any store, or a specific one?
any store.
is the one in merrylands ok?
yes they will be able to replace it for you.
great!
i take a 45 minute drive down to merrylands, and they say oh sorry we cant do that, only the store in the city can do replacements.
YOUR KIDDING RIGHT!?
i was just on the phone, and the customer rep said any store can do it!
oh sorry, what he said is not correct.
is there a single person working for vodafone who actually knows what there talking about?
so i took a 2 hour drive into the city, a 2 hour drive back, got it replaced.
same problem, rang back the next day and they said just take it back and get a refund.
took it back, spend 2 hours in the store arguing with the manager she just wanted to replace it, i said no its already been replaced, im not getting what i paid for, i want a refund!
after 2 hours she said look i cant do that, ill put you on to customer service AGAIN!
ok fine......
spent a hour on the phone arguing with them, they finally agreed to tell her to do it and i got my refund.

so, yea......
thats why you could not pay me a trillion dollars to ever go with vodafone in my life!

im not the only one either.
a friend of mine cancled his contract of his old phone for a new 4S.
the customer rep told him if you do so you will pay ZERO cancellation fees.
now he has cancelled his contract and there charging him 540 dollars for the cancellation.

and they say telstra is bad!
they may be expensive, but every problem i have had with them they have had the best customer support!
no questions asked!
i even remember when i lost my phone, and some d*ck head made all these phone calls, internet charges to my account, telstra actually cancelled my whole monthly bill.
i had 60 bucks worth of my calls and such on there, plus the 800 that prick made and they canned the whole thing for me!
vodafone would not even dream of doing that!
