Odd Discovery: Morrowind, Oblivion Found In Skyrim
You think Skyrim is pretty damn big, huh? Well, you have no idea...
It seems that when Bethesda set out to create The Elder Scrolls V, the team didn't just build Skyrim. In fact, according to a young gamer from Finland (as cited by Edge), the entire Tamriel landmass - including both Morrowind and Oblivion - is actually included.
In the southeast corner of Skyrim at Stendarr's Beacon, the gamer found a path that led to an archway, but it wouldn't let him go further. He didn't know why you could see more to explore but the game wouldn't let him proceed...why put it there at all? So he enabled NoClip mode and was able to walk on. After a while, the textures dropped off and he saw the Red Mountain from Morrowind's Vvardenfell region. He saw lots. "It's all there," he added.
Cyrodil is there, too; it was the location of Oblivion's Imperial Tower. Now, many are wondering why Bethesda did this...do you have any bright ideas? To check out screenshots of Jesse's journey, visit his blog.

But I'm still torn... if this amazing discovery is indeed for future dlc, than sweet. Won't need a cpu. BUT and this is a big but ( haha big but ) if bethesda put it in there for modders, and bethesda is BIG on modders, than those of us that get it for the ps3 or 380's will never see it.... and that's a big bummer.

Imagine an ES game with the entirety of Tamriel to explore... Bethesda gonna need some outside help in making a game that big... But DO WANT!

why else would you put content on the disk and lock it out?
more burning question is how the hell did bethesda fit the PC and 360 version on 1 disk!?
i mean yea the graphics are not that amazing, but neither are RAGEs, and this is a MUCH bigger game then that!
and that took 2 disks for the campaign, and 1 for MP.

ahhh, so thats why the games so buggy, they spent all there time casting black magic!
thats whats so amazing about the game, how much has gone into it, the sheer content is just mind blowing!
ive always said quality over quantity, but when its half decent, and THIS much of it its kinda hard to argue.

I just bought Skyrim I couldn't help myself! Oblivion is one of my favorite games, so it was hard to wait this long. But I'm actually disappointed in the character customization. Why would they ever think taking away classes was a good idea? I want to play as a warrior not a super soldier, warrior-Mage-archer-thief. It means so much more when you can concentrate pm building your character based on his/her skills. In Skyrim it's do whatever you want, whenever you want the game will do the rest and it feels like they got lazy. The perks are a good idea, that kind of separates what your going for in your character, but why choose a race that could be terrible in the description at magic, yet are able to Make that character great at magic because there's no character classes? O well atleast questing is just as fun, and the world is just ridiculously huge!
I don't know Oblivion was more in depth from what I can tell so far, the only thing I'm liking more so in Skyrim is the 3rd person view! Man between Uncharted 3 and Skyrim they were my most anticipated games for a while! At least one of them I have no complaints about! I think Oblivion just left me with to high of expectations! But tomorrow is another day and I'll be playing Skyrim quite a bit so I can really get into it!

That's their goal with these changes.
You do those kind of decisions more "along the way" so you get a chance to know the world and gameplay better.
Personally I think this works well but I would not have mind if it were done the classic way either, with complete character creation right away.
I do however remember that back when I was new to RPGs I found it really hard to make a lot of decisions where I had very little idea of what consequences they had.

I'm kind of frustrated with a few things in Skyrim but it's definitely a good game. I'm playing the crap out of it so... The conversations are something else that has me frustrated. It's straight dialogue and nothing else. Not trying to make people happy, no more wheel, ugh. My expectations were just to high, or maybe it was that Oblivion did so many things I loved, that it's hard to get adjusted.
O well, back to playing! ;)
Also just want to say there are lots of things I enjoy more so also, like forging weapons and armor, I mean how insanse is it to be able to see it happening in front of you with all the different techniques! It's a good game, I'll definitely be playing it for a while!

Check out the amazing Skyrim Time-Lapse Video
Bethesda went to great lengths to craft a stunningly beautiful world in Skyrim with numerous environments to explore, and this well-produced time-lapse video shows off the game's incredible details.
Check it out here.....

Even if it seems over the top to include these provinces in dlc, remember the shivering isles expansion!? That was insane - might as well have been a seperate game. Since so much effort has gone into elder scrolls:V I expect nothing less from Bethesda.
