Yakuza: Dead Souls Character Trailer: Four Butt-Kickers

Yes, the new Yakuza has zombies. But it also has four playable characters, each with their own unique style.

In addition to the main bad-ass Kazuma Kiryu, Goro Majima, Ryuji Goda, and Shun Akiyama will take on the swarming hordes of undead in Tokyo's red light district.

If you're familiar with the series, you might've thought Ryuji Goda was dead after Yakuza 2 but as the PlayStation Blog says, "you'd be wrong." He has a prosthetic arm now...and it transforms into a gatling gun. Yeah. Check out all the characters in this new trailer.

Yakuza: Dead Souls will arrive in March and while some fans are complaining about this franchise shift, we still believe Sega will produce an entertaining adventure. The entire series has been pretty damn good; just because they toss in a few guns and zombies doesn't mean it'll be poor quality, right? Right.

Still not sure what to think of this game, I loved Yakuza 3 and have only recently bought Yakuza 4, but this seems more like a spin off + I am sick off seeing zombies everywhere in the media nowadays so I think I'll just play through Yakuza 4 and wait for the enxt one.

I love Yakuza...but I am unsure of this one. Probably just going to wait it out for Yakuza 5 considering it's going to be "massive" or ...at least they say it will be.

It's a sad day in gaming when this team pumps out a Yakuza zombie game before considering Shenmue 3.

meh.
no thanks, they lost me with the 100 lines of text boxes, and babysitting missions in yakuza 3.
wake me up when they properly come into the 21st century with voice actors and proper dialogue instead of 2 harry pot head books for each conversation!
