Army Of Two Becomes Army Of Four?
Why? Because two just isn't enough, obviously.
We found the first Army of Two game to be sub-par, but the sequel was definitely better. And that's why we're hoping for another step in the right direction.
But if it happens, it won't be with two...but with four. According to one insider, EA is apparently working on a new installment, which will feature the Frostbite 2 engine (used in Battlefield 3 and Need for Speed: The Run), and - wait for it - four-player co-op action.
The only problem is that development seems to have hit a snag, so now that BF3 is done, EA has started to ferry DICE guys over to the Montreal studio to help. As of now, "Army of Four" has yet to be announced, so stay tuned for more info. Personally, I'm hoping for a top-quality co-op shooter, just because I prefer that kind of multiplayer action over the free-for-all deathmatches online.
But that's just me, I'm sure. :)

changing there series into things people dont want!
when the ^%$# will they learn!?
earth to EA, 4 PLAYER CO-OP GAMES JUST DO NOT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what do we have to do to get that trough?
hang it above your bed in big bright yellow neon lights?
read every review for rayman origins, or R&C all for one.
every review says the same thing, 4 player co-op just is too hectic gets too hard to see your player especially with all the visual effects going on.
please EA, for the love of god dont do this!
army of two was fine as a 2 player game.
for the love of god leave it at that!!!!!!!!!
a sequel should be exactly the same as the 40th day except with more bigger boss battles, more enemy variety, more weapons, and a few nice big set pieces.
oh and add in some more co-op moments, there were a few where you could time shots between yourselves to save civilians but not enough.
other then that the 40th day was a BRILLIANT game, one of the best shooters this gen!
so much better then that COD, resistance, KZ, homefront, battlefield, socom, crap!
sigh........
what is it with publishers these days and saying ok were doing a sequel it has to be radically different!
why!?
why does it have to be radically different?
why cant it be the same?
its in the same franchise, so shouldent it be the same?
sigh.................

Since I keep all my games collections cataloged alphabetically(even within each franchise), I sure hope they're not going to start calling it Army Of Four cause that means it will be sitting in front of both my Army Of Two's instead of behind them.
Yeah, I'm anal like that about my collections!
