The Darkness II Gets 4-Player Co-Op
Dual-wielding was once all the rage in shooters. But these days, it's nothing special, which is why The Darkness II will let you quad-wield.
And there's no better way to enjoy all the quad-wielding insanity than with a few friends. We've learned that the highly anticipated sequel will feature four-player co-op.
It'll be called "Vendettas," and it's a "team-focused, mission-based experience" featuring new environments and story elements. Basically, it fleshes out the single-player experience even more, and you can sample characters other than protagonist Jackie Estacado. There's Inugami (a "dark and mentally unstable character with revenge-driven motives"), Shoshanna, an Israeli Intelligence agent, and J.P. DuMond, a doctor of voodoo medicine. Each has their own weapon preference and each should prove to be highly entertaining and very, very effective.
By the way, for the unfamiliar, you can only "quad-wield" because you can attack with four arms- your two regular human ones, and the two demon arms. If you'd like to check out some gameplay, watch this video.
