Atlus Teases A Title Fans "Have Been Waiting For"
We love Atlus, but they have to stop doing this.
First, the publisher teases a mystery strategy/RPG that turned out to be Gungnir, and now, they're saying another secret title might be on the way.
On top of which, it might be a good deal bigger than Gungnir. According to Siliconera, Famitsu asked several companies what their plans were for 2012, and Atlus replied-
"That title you’ve been waiting for may be announced."
No, we have no idea what it could be. But we imagine the hardcore role-playing fans are trying to come up with the answer; what do you want most from Atlus? Is it a continuation of an established franchise? Something new that had been hinted at before? The way they phrase that statement, it's like certain fans will easily recognize the title...
Maybe they'll do a follow-up to Catherine. It was a financial and critical success, even if I may not be able to face more blocks.

I'm playing the game unable to categorise it, unable to label it at all. Asking myself just what is this i am experiencing? Because it's brand new....but at the same time, i am in awe and constantly thinking about the game when at work and on set. Once again, the East marches through with the intelligent and forward thinking ideas.
Has to be top 5 most innovative games of the generation and defiantly was the most innovative of 2011 (LBP2 was expanding an already innovative formula made with the 1st).
As for this....we don't need Catherine 2 at all, but a new game with a similar formula would be welcome.
.....but this is quite simply Persona 5.

The only thing that can upset me now is if it is a handheld game, I am tired of missing out on great games because there on a handheld. I know someone will say "well get the handheld" the thing is I own a PSP already and I hate playing games for more than 15 to 20 minutes at a time on it. My main gripe is it kills my neck and eyes, I also am not fond of the control scheme either.

Sega delivered with Yakuza 3 & 4 (though it wasn't reviewed here too well, it was a great game imo). ATLUS with CATHERINE, and Kojima Pro. with MGS 4 & Peace Walker.
Here's a BIG THANKS TO THESE DEVELOPERS.
By the way, in case if you missed it, I'm just comparing these guys to other Japanese developers out there such as Capcom and Square Enix.
