God Of War IV Appears On Resume As An "Upcoming" Project
It's inevitable that we'll see another God of War entry at some point, but it hasn't been officially announced yet.
In the meantime, we're stuck catching hints wherever we can find them. For example, take the resume of orchestrator Timothy Williams, who has worked on scores for "Conan the Barbarian", Rise of the Argonauts, and DOTA 2. To hear some of his work from the latter title, visit his website.
As pointed out by Siliconera, Williams lists God of War IV on his resume; it's one of his "upcoming" projects. The last update we have for GoWIV came from PSM; the publication said the new action extravaganza from Sony Santa Monica would drop in the middle of 2012. We've also heard plenty of rumors concerning the possibility of online multiplayer. Kratos' brother, Deimos, might be involved...
Maybe Williams will be kind enough to tell everyone when the game is coming out...but we highly doubt it. Sony might get miffed.

If it's in development now, it's surely for PS3. If Sony gets some PS4 dev kits out soon then maybe... maybe they'll make a dual release. If Sony is smart this go round and makes PS4 the right way (similar architecture, upgraded hardware) then PS4 should natively support PS3 games, in which case it won't matter. Surely we all remember how amazing GOW2 looked and performed on PS2. They can, and will, push the PS3 in the same way.
As for multiplayer... no.

Well done Naughty Dog for keeping The Last of Us a tightly guarded secret. No wonder they were saying how hard it was to keep the game a secret.
