Ghost Recon Future Soldier Beta, Release Date Announced
It's not just a shooter; it's a tactical shooter that should make your multiplayer experience all the more intriguing.
Ubisoft has confirmed both the PC version of Ghost Recon Future Soldier and the upcoming multiplayer beta test for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. That beta will be ready to go on April 3. No specific details on the test are currently available.
The game itself will be on store shelves for the PS3, 360 and PC on May 22 in North America and May 24 in Europe. Here's the best part of the press release; it's what Ubisoft IP development director Adrian Lacey had to say:
“Ubisoft prides itself on creating some of the most compelling and innovative experiences in digital entertainment. “Today we are feature complete in our multi-player, single-player and four-player co-op campaign modes. We have made the decision to move the date in order to ensure that all these ingredients are pushed to the highest level and provide a truly unique shooter experience. The Ghost Recon franchise is known for setting the standard of high definition gaming and we believe the extra couple of months will allow us to reach that goal. We would like to thank all Ghost Recon fans for their patience and look forward to unveiling some exciting new elements in the coming weeks.”"
Yes, patience is indeed a virtue. But we've been waiting on a new Ghost Recon for so long...remember Advanced Warfighter? That was a lot of fun, especially with other players.
