Ninja Gaiden III Multiplayer Footage: Kill All The Ninjas

Ever wonder what multiplayer gameplay would look like in Ninja Gaiden III?

We certainly have. It's not exactly the type of genre that fits into the common multiplayer mold, so it'd be interesting to see how a developer like Team Ninja implements the concept of numerous players hacking away at each other.

Thankfully, G4 has tossed up a gameplay trailer that highlights NGIII's multiplayer action. It's appropriately fast and furious, and we imagine it's gonna be so hectic and intense, it'll make your eyes bleed. No, seriously...there's no break in the finger-cramping combat, as there would be in the story mode, so this is just nuts.

Think you can handle that? Because I have my reservations. With enough people, this could become a frustrating blur. On the other hand, the optimist in me says the hardcore action aficionados will absolutely love the opportunity to show off their prodigious skills by facing down human foes. I still say games like this don't need multiplayer but I'm sure I'm in the minority. I usually am on this subject.

Besides, so much of this certainly looks cool.

I'm in it 4 the SP and SP only but good luck to anyone who uses the new online multi-player feature though.

Looks like a fun distraction but nothing more. I used to think this was the most difficult series that I had ever played. Now I'm playing Dark Souls. Have to say it's quite a humbling experience. Damn crimson butterfly boss. You took all my Humanity! lol

Haha, looks like fun. Let's hope the network quality is ample times improved over Sigma 2's.

and what's with the real dated looking graphics?
Granted, it's Hayabusa Village from older games but even the character models look lower-than-standard poly count with ninja outfits that tries to look like clothe but instead looks like plastic =\

I forget that his arm is corrupted so in the picture it looks like he's getting punched in the face.

That looks like it could turn into an unbalanced mess really quickly.

I want it, but I said I'd plat Sigma2 first... but Ult Nin 1&2 is ridiculous, and they're the only ones I need for the plat!
