GTAIII, Vice City Likely Headed To PSN
You know how Sony has started this drive to bring PS2 classics to the PlayStation Network?
We've already heard that Killzone, ICO, and Shadow of the Colossus are on board, but what about the super heavy hitters? Don't worry, they appear to be on the way-
According to Joystiq citing the ESRB, both Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City have been rated for the PlayStation 3.
GTAIII is already available on Android and iOS and Vice City was a huge hit as well, so this probably doesn't come as a surprise. The games are gigantic, but perhaps they're only "gigantic" in reference to the generation in which they released; by today's standards, they're not quite so huge. Still, I was just playing around in Vice City the other day (my favorite GTA) and I have to say, that world really is pretty impressive. And you know, not much loading at all.
The last GTA title on PS2, San Andreas, hasn't been rated for the PS3 as of yet. But that was awesome, too, so here's hoping.
