I Am Alive Trailer Stresses Survival
No, it didn't turn out to be the full production we had anticipated, but I Am Alive still has a ton of promise as a digital title. Don't you think?
It's a post-apocalyptic setting and you're not really sure exactly what happened. All you know is that most people are dead, and civilization has come to an end; it's now all about the essentials, like food and water.
It'll be up to you. Do you attack to get valuable life-sustaining items? Do you bluff an armed group to escape? Do you try to go the silent route? Either way, it's going to be a challenge, and your character will be very...well, human. He probably won't be able to take much abuse and he'll respond to platforming and action sequences realistically. We just hope it isn't too restrictive.
It's definitely shaping up to be one of the more intriguing adventures of the generation. Provided the mechanics are sound, the concept should stand on its own; survival can be intense and downright riveting if it feels authentic.
