We knew David Jaffe was a little touched in the head (in a way we all envy), but we had no idea he'd destroy an ice cream truck...or rather, let us destroy an ice cream truck.
If you visit ShootMyTruck.com, the Twisted Metal guru will tell you everything you need to know. Basically, he's going to give us all a chance to blow up Sweettooth's iconic truck; all we have to do is register via our Facebook or Twitter accounts, and we might just have our opportunity to fire that massive gun. No, seriously. The gun is hooked up to a webcam and a server, and we'll be able to fire it from the comfort of our own homes. How ridiculously sweet is that? ...get it? Sweet? Ha.
Register for your chance to fire on February 14, launch day for the upcoming Twisted Metal reboot. Now, we know what you're asking: "Why?" Well, we can't really answer that. But firing an automatic weapon from our desk chairs might be reason enough. Beyond that, we have to hope Twisted Metal is as bad-ass as this bizarre promotion.

got to try this out on wednesday night so much fun!
so frustrating, they only had 12 units setup for 400 people and 10 minutes after the event started they locked those down for MP comp so 400+ people were restricted to 4 units.
typical $ony last minute poor organisation!
so happy to see the series back though its taken FAR too long a hiatus!
im just worried that this will be the last.
well no scratch that, convinced this will be the last!
come on, theres so much more that can be done with the series!
