Syndicate Boasts Big Hollywood Talent
These days, voice acting is tremendously important. And developer Starbreeze understands that.
After delivering a fantastic cast for The Darkness (and Digital Extremes did a damn fine job with the voices in the sequel, too), Starbreeze has tapped some serious - and popular - Hollywood talent for their upcoming Syndicate reboot.
EA has revealed that the game will boast Rosario Dawson, Brian Cox, and Michael Wincott, all of whom you should know or at least recognize. Dawson was in both "Sin City" and "Grindhouse" and she plays Lily Drawl, a EuroCorp "rising star," in the game. Cox ("The Bourne Identity," "Troy") is Jack Denham, the "ruthless EuroCorp director, and Wincott ("The Crow") plays Jules Merit, a senior agent "with many victorious operations under his belt."
When you get real actors, you tend to get better performances. It's just a fact. And with storytelling becoming such a crucial part of interactive entertainment, we need convincing voices, yes? Syndicate is scheduled to arrive for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in North America on February 22; it'll hit Europe three days later. We're looking forward to it.

Shame it's banned here in Australia. Looks like I'll be importing again... once it hits $40 or less. :)
