SSX Demo Flies High Next Week
If you're excited for the SSX reboot, you'll want to get your hands on some white-knuckle gameplay ASAP.
Well, the good news is that the game's creative director, Todd Batty, confirmed a demo date during the latest Ubercast. The sample will be available on February 21 on both the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade in the US.
Zoe will be a playable character in four different events, and you'll even be able to unlock Mac if you refer a friend. Two tutorials will be included as well, including a sky-diving lesson that sounds pretty damn cool. Remember, this new SSX is completely over-the-top, as you'll be going down some of the most impassable (and impossible) mountains in existence. So yeah, sometimes, you just might have to be dropped off by helicopter or something.
The game is scheduled to be on store shelves the following week, on February 28. Although I'm not really a fan of any racing games besides Gran Turismo, I have to admit my nostalgic weakness for SSX. That franchise was golden on the PS2 and honestly, I never met anyone who didn't like it.
