DICE Working On Big Patch For BF3
If you've been playing Battlefield 3 online and have complained about a host of annoying problems, fear not: DICE has listened.
One of last year's best is getting a major patch at some point in the near future; we don't know exactly when, but the full list of tweaks and updates can be found at the Battlelog.
Everything you see there is currently scheduled for the PS3, 360, and PC versions of the game. The patch will address issues facing multiple aspects of the experience, ranging from weapons and weapon accessories to game types. For instance, guided rockets will only track ground targets, players won't incur damage from short falls, and there will be some spawn problems fixed in the team deathmatch and squad deathmatch modes. As of now, the list isn't quite complete and DICE may have more to add.
Battlefield 3 has also experienced connection and lag issues, but these seem to be limited to the PS3 version. For now, DICE is looking to release this general patch that will clear up gameplay-related issues for everyone involved. We'll let you know when it's ready.
