Journey Trophies Emphasize Exploration, Cooperation

Sometimes, when people are a tad hazy on a particular title's overall concept and feel, they get a better idea of both after reviewing the Trophy list.

Journey is slated to arrive on March 13 and while there are plenty of previews and other pieces of information out there, it's difficult to put the gameplay into words.

Therefore, you might want to check out the Trophies listed over at the PlayStation Blog. They may or may not reveal some minor spoilers depending on your viewpoint. But it's clear that your adventure will consist of much exploration, as many Trophies task you with locating something specific, such as the hidden desert flower, all the cloth creatures in the desert, and all 10 ancient glyphs. The game's cooperative aspect is obvious, too, as some Trophies involve your time with another player.

Crossing the desert and reaching the summit of a mountain is the goal, but it's the journey itself that should grip you. Stay tuned for our review.

I hope this game has a degree of replayability. Journey seems to be that type of game that will provide an amazing unique experience that will blow our minds, but only once. To clarify what I mean, I will mention the other games that are like this: Portal, Ghost Trick, Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney.

Of course, I could be (and I hope I am) wrong.

maybe so, but if the price is right, for me, even once or twice would still make the experience worth it.

Yeah but afterwards you'd have this emotional heartache where you WANT to continue playing the game after you've finished it (like extra story or a sequel), or play it again, just to get the feeling you got the first time, but you can't.

I still feel this with Ghost Trick, I really want to get more chapters, or a sequel, or at least to replay it, but I can't...

Ahhh, "Exploration" and "Cooperation". Two key ingredients for "good gaming" in my book. This will be interesting.
