Jet Set Radio Returns With A Create Your Own Graffiti Contest
Those who remember the Dreamcast with great affection will likely recall the name, Jet Set Radio.
And the good news is that it's coming back: Sega has announced that DJ Professor K, Beat, Gum, and all the GGs will once again hit the streets to tag walls, billboards and even rival gang members. The upgraded high-definition version will hit the PSN, XBLA and Windows PC Digital Download this summer. The normal time to be out skatin'.
In a futuristic Japanese city, gangs fight for the right to express themselves "against an overbearing, corporate-controlled police force." Speeding around on magnetically driven inline skates (back when inline skating was all the rage), these deviant artists will make their mark...literally. Furthermore, Sega will give fans a chance to share their own personalized graffiti; you can design 18 brand new pieces of in-game art that may eventually be seen by gamers around the world.
Winners will receive a prize pack that includes a Rukus from Eton Corporation, plus "a number of other wicked rewards." For more information, be sure to visit the contest's official website.
