Stan Lee Is A Playable Character In The Amazing Spider-Man

He's certainly entitled, of course. However, no offense to the die-hard Stan Lee fans out there, but...what's he gonna do?

"The Amazing Spider-Man" will be in theaters nationwide on July 3, and the game will be on store shelves a week earlier on June 26. In development at Beenox, we have high hopes because recent entries from that developer have been decent, even great in some instances.

But there's an added bonus: The Amazing Spider-Man will actually feature creator Stan Lee as a playable character. Yeah, you read that correctly. In a brief interview with AddictOfFiction, the comic God confirmed as much when asked if he had ever considered putting himself in a game. It's something all the fans want.

That's just incredible. But again...what is he gonna do? A mad scientist, perhaps?  Or maybe he should have all the powers of all the superheroes he has ever created. I mean, it's only right that she should wield the very skills and abilities that came from his own mind; he made 'em up, he should be able to use 'em in a video game.

Doesnt he always make cameo in the movies? What will he do in the game? Web of Shadows and Shattered Dimensions were good games. Im going to pass on the movie and the game.

I'm boycotting the movie, but it looks like I'll be getting its video game adaptation. Stan Lee's my hero, ever since I was a little kid. I was able to spend an hour with him in New York last October. It was me and fourteen other people with Stan, breakfast and all his amazing stories. :)

He's one of those ppl who doesn't like the fact that they've rebooted it so early.

Is that a hint to his sex-morphing powers??

He should have some kind of senior citizen powers like the ability to survive intense heat or shoot the most powerful farts of all time.

J/K I love Stan, I wish he had more episodes of Stan Lee's Superhumans. Favorite unexpected appearance: playing Hugh Hefner in Iron Man.

How ironic!! I saw an interview of him admiting never playing a single video game and he even dont know what is a Wii. Well.. is not an actor and appears in almost every Marvel movie for seconds, lol so...

Totally! He had to get the ideas somewhere, right?!

And he certainly understood the importance of "secret" powers!

Here's an interesting idea for an editorial (or discussion)

Is there an individual in the games industry that has had as much impact the same way Stan changed comic books?
