Medal Of Honor: Warfighter Hits The Battlefield On October 23
Okay, so who thinks this one has a legitimate shot to top Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 for the best shooter of 2012?
EA has announced that Medal of Honor: Warfighter is set to launch on October 23, and they tossed out an official announcement trailer, too.
Apparently, EA plans to release the anticipated sequel internationally on the aforementioned date, so our European friends won't have to wait. The trailer shows off the game's elite Tier 1 operators and a bunch of locales and vehicles; it looks pretty damn authentic and reminds us once again that the last Medal of Honor was a great experience. Also, don't forget that if you pre-order the game, you'll automatically be upgraded to the Limited Edition.
Unsurprisingly, Warfighter will utilize the Frostbite 2.0 engine, which met with widespread critical acclaim when it was featured in last year's Battlefield 3. A whole lot of EA projects are using the engine, actually (and that includes racing games). Here's hoping Danger Close hits the mark once again; can't wait for this one!
