Disney's Epic Mickey 2: The Power Of Two Embraces PS3, 360
Yes, you too will be able to experience the power of two.
Disney Interactive Media Group has announced Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, the sequel to the popular and critically acclaimed Wii title. Obviously, the reason we're reporting it here is because the second game is also scheduled to arrive for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Mickey deserves high-def!
Once again, gamers will play as Mickey Mouse, the iconic Disney mascot. Also, for the first time, we'll be able to play as Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, who is technically Walt Disney's very first cartoon star. The game is being created by industry veteran Warren Spector and Disney Interactive's Junction Point studio. Said Spector:
"As a life-long Disney fan, working with Mickey Mouse in the original ‘Disney Epic Mickey’ was a truly humbling experience. Millions of fans fell in love with Mickey as a video game hero and I know they'll experience similar emotions when they get to interact with and actually play as Oswald the Lucky Rabbit in ‘Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two.’"
Mickey and his magical paint brush will benefit from the new co-op feature, as Oswald will also be able to use his remote control to command electricity. The rest of the atmosphere should be mesmerizing; in fact, they're calling this game a "musical," as "characters will advance the plot by expressing themselves in song, with all-original music and lyrics." Lastly, Epic Mickey 2 will support PlayStation Move but apparently, not Kinect.
Looking forward to this one!
