Lair and I-8 Likely to Be Online for PS3
Both Factor 5, makers of the upcoming dragon-themed game Lair, and Insomniac, who will be bringing their first person shooter I-8 to the PS3, are looking for programmers to help construct an online environment for their respective games. The former is seeking a Game Networking Programmer, while the latter is looking for an Online Lobby Programmer.Though this indicates the likelihood that both titles will feature online components (especially in the case of I-8, considering Insomniac's recent Ratchet and Clank games have featured networked multplayer), some people are worried that it may hint at the lack of a unified Xbox Live-type for Sony's next-gen console.
