Ninja Gaiden 3 DLC: Weapons, Ninja Trials, New Difficulty

Admittedly, I was quite disappointed with Ninja Gaiden 3. But maybe some helpful additions and tweaks will offer a significant upgrade.

Team Ninja has released some downloadable content for the latest NG entry. This includes the infamous Falcon's Talons (for use in the single-player campaign) and the Metal Claws (multiplayer), as well as Ninja Trials packs and extra equipment and items. Lastly, if you think the adventure is too easy, there's a new Ultimate Ninja difficulty, which is coming on April 24 and will remain free for one month. Free is good.

As for the Talons and Claws, Trials, and new items and equipment, some of that can be purchased separately, or you can pick up the complete Ninja Pack 1 set, which will cost you $9.99. As of right now, you can grab those Falcon's Talons, plus a new stage for online multiplayer; both are free if you act quickly. Oh heck, we assume they'll remain free but why waste time?

Over time, with enough enhancements, NG3 might become a much better game. But you really can't change enough of the severe issues that hamper the gameplay, such as the camera. That really needed to be fixed, guys.

So as long as my Internet gets setup as planned for Wednesday I'll be snagging all of this DLC. Can't get me enough of NG3 =)

Oh, and I hope they fix the system freeze bug on the first mission of the Leader Ninja Trials. Every dang time the final showdown initiates my PS3 entirely freezes, forcing me to hard reset my PS3.

You can't possibly tell me that they couldn't have put that stuff in the initial game *SIGH* I see they've jumped on the bandwagon of purposely leaving out content just to make more $$$$... Oh well *shrugs shoulders* Glad I didn't buy it when it 1st came out..... and I'm still gonna wait for a price drop though.

Well, it sucks that it's coming as DLC, should've been part of the game initially, but at least it is coming, and giving the fans what they'd like.

Everything about this game is a joke. I hope this game and its "dlc" fails to sell. Practices like this dont deserve to succeed. The way the gaming industry is going with half-assed developed games coming out the price of games might as well increase to 79.99 just to have all the "dlc" included at launch.

I reckon the game is rad. It ain't as good as Ninja Gaiden II or Sigma but it's still a solid game, just make sure you whack the level up a notch before playing it.

More weapons sounds good & it's free.

Im waiting for sigma 3.

This game needed more time to cook and settle the issues.

These weapon dlc prove that they were on a tight schedule, thus restricting single player to one weapon.

I have faith that Team Ninja can find the right path eventually, they are not incompetent like slant six.

This was completely unacceptable right from the beginning. They had a chance to reel me in for another round of NG fun but they failed miserably. I have no further interest in this game.
