Way Of The Samurai 4 Slashing Onto North American PS3s
First, take a look at the picture...what exactly is going on there?
But anyway, good news for PlayStation 3 owners: It has been confirmed that Way of the Samurai 4 will be brought to North America by XSEED Games. And yes, it'll be "fully uncut and uncensored," so you'll be able to indulge in everything from torture chambers to crazy assassinations to "naughty midnight missions."
Admiral Perry has opened Japan's borders to the British but one resistance group, the "Disciples of Prajna," have no interest in this globalization endeavor. At the start, you're one of those rebellious samurai, but you can choose to continue on with that cause or take sides with the invading foreigners. At the same time, you can also "hit on all the local women, deck out your samurai in wildly anachronistic (and highly customizable) gear, and murder and deceive your way into positions of power." ...that sounds amusing, right?
We're not sure what to expect from Way of the Samurai 4 but we feel safe in assuming it'll be utterly ridiculous and fun. No release date just yet, but we know it'll be a digital title.

From the makers of Tenchu and Shinobido - Acquire and i am a huge fan of them!
WotS3 was great fun, but WotS4 sounds SO much better and i was gutted it was never announced for the west.
However, this seems US only, so i'm still half gutted.
EDIT: Rising Star will be publishing the game for retail stores in Europe....YEAH! Not keen on download only, i like my cases, so this is great!

I think more people would drop 39 99 on a digital game than 49 99. Especially when its so unique and possibly unheard of to many casual gamers on PSN.
Oh well, I'm still mega super excited.

Honestly, in an attempt to save money, I have narrowed down my games wishlist to a select few this year. The only Japanese title on that list is The Last Guardian, everything else is European or American.
Sadly, I have very little interest in Japanese games or Japanese culture right now, particularly in game form.
