Hitman: Absolution Professional Edition Confirmed For Europe

Hitman is a revered franchise and one that deserves such a slick collector's edition.

They're calling it the Professional Edition, and it has been confirmed for European territories. As revealed at the Square Enix Members blog, the game that doesn't have a concrete date yet is lookin' even more appealing.

The Professional Edition features a premium hardcover art book (with a forward from Game Directory Tore Blystad), an exclusive behind-the-scenes "making-of" video, and a special clamshell box to tie it all together. It will also give you access "to a range of in-game Agency Weapons," and that includes the Agency Jagd P22G pistol for the silent assassin types ('raises hand'), the Agency HD UMP SMG and the Agency SPS 12 semi-automatic shotgun for those who want to make a ruckus. No word on whether or not we'll get this cool edition here in the US but for now, it's nice to know our European friends will have the option.

Hitman: Absolution is slated to arrive later this year.
