Prototype 2 Pack Leader Ability: Strategy Amid The Chaos

For the most part, Prototype 2 will be about fu***** things up.

That's obvious. And it's fun, too. But the developers have decided to implement a host of new skills and abilities this time around, and one of them is called Pack Leader.

On display in this new trailer, it allows the protagonist to summon a group of meat gorillas (what a great name!), which will follow him around and fight beside him. Heller can issue orders - i.e., attack that dude - and watch from afar as his twisted monster allies go crazy. When he dismisses them, that seals their fate...it's going to be a bloody, gory end but hey, that's what you get when you're a "meat gorilla."

It's a very cool idea and one we've seen before in games, but we wonder if even that slight bit of strategy will take away from the action focus. Some of the action purists may not like it...but then again, it's merely an option and of course, nothing is stopping you from joining in on the destructive fun. Sometimes it's nice to play God, though.
