Rumor: Black Ops 2 Launch Date, Multiplayer Details Leaked
See Full ImageThey better announce Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 soon, because the rumor mill will collapse under its own weight if they don't.
They could reveal this year's CoD entry on May 2 but in the meantime, everyone has been trying to decipher partial posters that started popping up in various GameStop locations. You can see the fruits of fan labor over at MP1st.
First and foremost is the possible leaked launch date- The word "Eclipse" has been spotted and that has led some to believe that this new title will release on Novermber 13, as that's when a total solar eclipse will take place. It's also the second Tuesday of the month, which falls in line with past Call of Duty releases. Yet another poster tossed up in the PSPKing forums apparently confirms that date but of course, until we see an official press release, everything is just rumor.
Provided you understand that, feel free to check out the supposed multiplayer details seen at MP1st. Game modes, perks, new knife features, and of course, more guns and attachments are on display. They seem perfectly legitimate but then again, I'm no CoD expert. Just relaying the info; you can elaborate in the Comments if you wish. :)

How will i know that you may ask? Well go to the official Call of Duty website and there you'll see the same picture being used under 'Call of Duty WORLD REVEAL' letters.

COD release some time around October.
Multiplayers details.. Run around maps in circles chasing your friends with guns and killing them. Probably have a sniper spot somewhere near the edge/center of the map. Have deathmatch, capture the flag, capture the base, and some sort of demolition mode. Will have about 8-12 maps. First and second DLC will include 2 "favorite" maps and 2 new maps.
Story will be about 5-10 hrs in length.
So.... how'd I do ?
