DICE, EA Still Want To Make A Sequel To Mirror's Edge
Whenever it comes to possible translation issues, we're always hesitant to make a report.
But we want a Mirror's Edge sequel so badly that we're more than prepared to cling to whatever slight rumor that may exist. Forgive us.
According to European source Play Front, it seems possible that we'll hear something about a Mirror's Edge 2 at some point in the "near future." It appears that both EA and DICE still have a vested interest in the project and they will make "great efforts" to bring back the franchise. ...well, I mean, revisit the new IP and turn it into a franchise by making another game. Basically, they want us to be able to talk about the sequel some time soon, and I'm good with that.
The original title sold around a million copies but evidently, that wasn't good enough to prompt immediate work on a sequel. Hopefully, though, things are changing in the EA/DICE landscape...

Made myself play through the entire thing without shooting a gun just to get the trophy, but ended up thinking it's the best way to play the game, completely changes the experience.

The music was atmospheric, the world vision from the characters perspective different and beautiful. This has to be on those games that should be remembered for this current generation.
Yep, a Heavenly Sword 2 would be nice to hear about, BUT hearing there are still plans for Mirrors Edge 2... outstanding.
My only hope is they retain some of the gameplay if not all and just add to something that was definitely an experience.Heres hopinh.
Keep Playing!

I still think it had one of the best intro songs to a game, I downloaded it from the store and still have it on my HDD, I even play the drums to it from time to time, great song.

in fact Lars was interviewed on it today and said there hoping to speak about it "soon".
so its confirmed, ME2 to see a debut at EAs press conference at E3 this year!
all ill say is they better not try to change it!
every time you hear DICE talk about the game they say there trying to change it to bring it to a larger audience.
all ill say is god help them if they change it, there going to have a hell of allot of flaming torches and pitchforks to deal with!
sigh, can we have ONE, just ONE franchise this generation that does not get turned on its head?
just one!?
