Uncharted Series Tops 17 Million, GotY Edition For Uncharted 3
Uncharted 3: Drake's DeceptionWell, if there's one game out there that deserves a Game of the Year Edition...
Sony has announced both the lifetime sales for Naughty Dog's award-winning Uncharted franchise, along with an incoming Game of the Year Edition for last year's Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception.
Thus far, the titles in question have sold 17,320,000 units; that number includes the three entries on the PlayStation 3 and the freshly released Golden Abyss for the Vita. The Uncharted 3 Game of the Year Edition will unsurprisingly include all downloadable content currently available for the game. That's around 14 pieces of DLC in total, guys. We don't know yet when it will arrive, but we have to assume it'll be soon, and you can guess at the price tag.
By the way, as of April 17, the Fortune Hunters' Club for Uncharted 3 came to an end, but Naughty Dog has made it clear that they will continue to generate DLC. So don't worry, one of the generation's best will still be supported in the months to come.

Don't get me wrong, they released alot of DLC content for the game, it just feels too soon.
They say they will have more DLC later but I feel like the game wont be as focused on due to The Last of Us.
This is faster than them phasing out Uncharted 2 multiplayer...

while the idea is great, offer the game at a reduced price and all the DLC on disk to save on DL and HDD space.
but they ALWAYS end up more then buying the game and DLC in the first place!
so whats the point?
fallout 3 GOTY edition for instance was 30 bucks more then i spent on the game and all the DLC in the first place!
plus when these things release the price of the originals plummets thus making these things even harder to justify.
uncharted 3s going for 50 ATM brand new, interesting to see how much it will drop when the GOTY edition hits, and how much that will be.
dont see the point of this again especially if the listings of the 3 box deal containing the first 3 are accurate too.
ok it may not come with the DLC, but so what?
all the DLC is online only anyway so if you want the DLC obviously you have a net connection otherwise you would not be able to use it in the first place, so might as well download it.

I might have to skip the GOTY version for Uncharted 3 since I already have everything from the Fortune Hunter's Club. But to those who have yet to play the game, they better get it once it's out!
