Kadokawa Games and Grasshopper Manufacture will give us Lollipop Chainsaw on June 12.

But amid all the Jessica Nigri cosplay, titillating and teasing trailers, and a whole lot of suggestive virtual imagery, a lot of players are going: "Um, yeah, but can I see some actual gameplay, please?"

We understand exactly how you feel and thankfully, so do the developers. They've released a few gameplay videos today; they're in Japanese and relatively short, but at least they're stuffed with combat craziness from start to finish. Here are a couple of those in-game vids; you can see that Juliet uses her pom-poms like Kratos used the Cestus weapon (or so it appears). So at least we know we'll get more than that chainsaw.

You shouldn't expect a crazy deep game, but don't think they're going to skimp on the combat options. It'll more than likely be a fun button-masher but still, we're willing to bet that skill will be rewarded in some capacity. ...we're just waiting for the announcement of the DLC that puts Juliet in a bikini. Why not go whole hog with this innuendo thing?
