Upcoming PSXE Interview: Spike TV Host Amanda Mackay

Any girl gamer out there who doesn't want to be interviewed by PSXE?

I called out Jo Garcia for being more of a marketing package than a gamer, after which she spent nearly an hour and a half disabusing me of that silly notion. So anybody who makes the same mistake I did...I've got her back.

Some years back, ex-pornstar Mia Rose contacted us, simply saying, "Yeah, I game, what of it?" That led to quite the enlightening discussion. Talk about hardcore; at the time, she had a Lv. 80 Druid in World of Warcraft and that was hardly the extent of her virtual achievements.

Now, it's Spike TV host and avid gamer Amanda Mackay who is on our interview list. We'll talk to her next Friday, May 11, and we plan to chat about a variety of gaming topics, including a new tower defense game called Battle for Everything, which is based on the upcoming movie blockbuster, "Battleship." But what else would you like to know? I'll take a few reader questions, so post 'em up here in the Comments.

I wasn't aware of her career but I guess the only thing that comes to mind is whether or not she has the privilege of advanced information on unannounced games and also if she'd like to meet for a drink.

Could you also get her to spill the beans on some of this years upcoming e3?

This seems like it would be an interesting question to have asked.

What is your opinion on game companies wanting the blockage of used games as more and more developers keep commenting on how its destroying the industry. Then theres the rumors going on about Sony abd Microsoft goin through with the used games being blocked on the new generation of consoles.

The only thing I can think of that might be interesting to ask this gamer since it is an attractive female is what her stance is on how female characters typically are portrayed in games. Ref DoA, Lollipop Chainsaw, Saints Row, Bayonetta, etc.

I believe attractive girls may have a different view on this than unattractive. At least in real life typically unattractive girls are more negative towards beautiful girls and in particular those who earn a living on that (obviously models, glamour models, dancers, but also even beautiful colleagues or at parties).

So from that perspective it could be interesting. Other than that, as a gamer her opinion on games in general is just as interesting as any other gamers opinions... Ergo we get that every day, here in the comments field.
